SamTrans is set to rush runners and spectators to the Bay to Breakers race on Sunday, May 18. SamTrans is offering an express service, departing from five convenient locations along the Peninsula.

SamTrans not only provides relief from soaring gas prices, offering a cheaper and faster ride to Bay to Breakers for the price of a gallon of gas, but it provides a smooth ride and professional driver to get you to the race on time. The express ride costs just $4 one way, or $8 round trip.

Runners will be dropped off near the starting line at 7:10 a.m. and spectators will be dropped off near the finish line at 7:40 a.m. A “Participants’ Bus” will be available to hold extra clothes and food during the race.

After the race, the first bus will depart from Sunset Boulevard (between Irving & Judah streets) at 10 a.m. or when full. The last bus will leave at 1:30 p.m. to give people more time to enjoy the post-race festivities.
