SamTrans and the Hillsdale Shopping Center are bringing the spirit of the holidays to the road with a festive “Holiday Bus.” The colorfully wrapped bus will go into service Thanksgiving Day as a way of promoting convenient, hassle-free transportation to shoppers during the holidays.

The bus is wrapped with Santa and his sleigh pulled by his reindeers with the message “Season’s Greetings” from Hillsdale Shopping Center and SamTrans. The bus will be traveling regular SamTrans bus routes through New Year’s Day. Nine SamTrans routes serve the Hillsdale Shopping Center.

The Holiday Bus is SamTrans’ way of saying ‘Season’s Greetings’ to its riders and asking them to take a holiday and let SamTrans do the driving.

SamTrans staff also will be at Hillsdale Shopping Center located in the Macy’s Center Court near Santa on Sunday, Nov. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide shoppers with transit information.
