Hop Over to the San Mateo Easter Eggstravaganza on SamTrans

Smart little bunnies should hop aboard SamTrans to get their cottontails to the 32nd Annual San Mateo Eggstravaganza held at Central Park on Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Kids and families can enjoy a pancake breakfast, the county’s largest egg hunt, games, entertainment and the annual Eggstravaganza community parade that is open to everyone. Best of all, SamTrans has a variety of options for getting you to the festivities without the hassle of traffic or parking.

Located on El Camino Real, between Fifth and Ninth avenues, Central Park is served by both Routes 390 and 391, which stop at the intersection of Fifth Avenue (northbound) as well as Fourth Avenue (southbound) and El Camino Real. Route 292 stops three blocks away from the park at North B Street and Fourth Avenue and Route 250stops one block from the park at San Mateo Drive and Fourth Avenue.

Caltrain riders can connect to the Metro N-Judah or T-Third at the San Francisco train station to get to the Green Village at Pier 30 and 32, the International Village near the Ferry Building and routes 10 Townsend and 47 Van Ness to get to the Marine Education Village, located near Maritime Park.
