SamTrans is proposing extending Route 17 service to the Linda Mar Park and Ride lot on weekends and holidays, which would replace the current weekend and holiday service provided by Route 294. There will be no change to Route 294 weekday service. The changes would take effect Aug. 15.

The proposed realignment of Route 17 would improve service between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica, with connections at Linda Mar to other SamTrans service.
