Let SamTrans be your ride to the 30th Annual San Carlos Hometown Days celebration May 21-23 at Burton Park. The festival area is served by Route 295.

More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the event, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, May 21 with a jazz concert hosted by the San Carlos Educational Foundation. The weekend festivities include more music, food, competitive games for children, such as sack races and a pie-eating contest. The big annual Hometown Days parade begins at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
